Do You Have the Right Mindset With Your Home Based Business?

Whether you’re a begin­ner net­work mar­keter or you’ve been in the game for a while, you must have the right mind­set for success.

You must believe in your­self and believe that you truly deserve suc­cess not only with your home based busi­ness, but in life.

Hav­ing an atti­tude of grat­i­tude and love for oth­ers as well as your­self are key com­po­nents to achiev­ing what you want.

In other words, you get what you give. If you are self­ish and neg­a­tive that comes back to you, but if you believe there is enough abun­dance for every­one and you remain pos­i­tive and lov­ing towards oth­ers, then it not only will be rec­i­p­ro­cated, but you’ll be blessed ten-fold for it.

You may have grown up with neg­a­tive par­a­digms. Hear­ing such things like, “Money is the root of all evil.” “It’s a dog eat dog world”. “You’re not good enough or smart enough to make it in this world.” This is sim­ply NOT the case.

Every­one was meant to have the life they desire. Every reli­gion states that love is the most impor­tant key there is in life. “Love is the ful­fill­ing of the law.” Saint Paul (Chris­t­ian Apos­tle). Romans 13:10. Every­thing you want to be, do or have comes from love. A poet by the name Edwin Markham said, “All that we send into the lives of oth­ers comes back into our own.”

It just makes sense that if you put out pos­i­tive, lov­ing feel­ings then you’ll get that in return. “Give, and it will be given to you.…for by your stan­dard of mea­sure it will be mea­sured to you in return.” Luke 6:38.

It takes a lit­tle self-discipline to gain con­trol of your thoughts and emo­tions but it can be done.

For exam­ple, in tying it back to net­work mar­ket­ing, some could get dis­cour­aged or feel neg­a­tive if they are talk­ing to a prospect about their com­pany or prod­uct, and that per­son said, “No, not inter­ested.” A way to coun­ter­act those neg­a­tive feel­ings would be to say the following:

• I’m so happy and grate­ful that I have the ears to lis­ten to this per­son say no.
• I’m so happy and grate­ful that I have the vision to dial the num­bers on the phone key­pad to be able to prospect.
• I’m so happy this per­son said no to my oppor­tu­nity or prod­uct because it just means that there is a YES wait­ing around the corner.
• I’m so happy and grate­ful that I am going after my dreams in the net­work mar­ket­ing arena because I’m tak­ing charge of my own hap­pi­ness and suc­cess in life, no mat­ter what!

You see, it all starts in the mind. Our thoughts con­trol our feel­ings and actions. If you think you’ll fail in net­work mar­ket­ing, you will. If you think thoughts of love and pos­i­tiv­ity and you really feel the good feel­ings and act on them, the law of the uni­verse has no choice but to answer you and reward you with every­thing you desire.

In James Allen’s book, “As a Man Thin­keth”, he states, “Mind is the Mas­ter power that molds and makes, Man is Mind, and ever­more he takes the tool of thought, and, shap­ing what he wills brings forth a thou­sand joy, a thou­sand ills:–He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass: Envi­ron­ment is but his looking-glass.”

So, my friends out there in net­work mar­ket­ing land, remem­ber that mind­set is half the bat­tle in this busi­ness. Keep in mind that such things take time. There is no mir­a­cle com­pany or prod­uct that is going to make you rich overnight. It’s the con­stant, repet­i­tive, pos­i­tive thoughts, feel­ings, deter­mi­na­tion and action that will get you that suc­cess you’re look­ing for.
