Fly Like An Eagle to Be Free!
Fly Like an Eagle to Be Free– Fly Like an Eagle to the Sea!
Despite Hurricane Irene and other hurricanes to come, one of our many goals is to be near the ocean for good– very soon. As we’re getting older, we’ve realized that we are just sick and tired of harsh winters here in Ohio. We have been wanting this for awhile but are waiting for our youngest son to graduate high school, we also need to make sure my father is well taken care of (since my mother’s passing), and we want to spend as much time with our grand kids as possible before the big move. It will be an enormous change, but one we’re super excited about!
Just thought we’d share one of our many goals with you all to get YOU thinking about what it is YOU really want. Do you want to be free? Free from your boss telling you when you can take a vacation or go to your kids sports activities? Free from bill collectors calling you relentlessly? Free to help change others lives and make a real difference? Free to live your life the way you want, when you want?
You see, freedom is very attainable if you put your mind to it and take action. In our previous post, “Are You Living Your Life by Default or Design?”, we talked about the laws of success and now we’re going to share more of them.….
Laws of Success Cont’d:
4. Reaping and Sowing– You may think that success is about being lucky, but the bottom line is you reap what you sow. You have to take responsibility for your financial situation. Don’t blame your boss, your co-workers, the government, or the economy. Step up and take charge. If you sow generously in your business, you will reap generously. If you want referrals, give referrals. If you give encouragement to others, you’ll get that back. You can’t change others, but you can change yourself.
5. Desire–Desire reveals design and destiny much like the eagle who was designed to soar and has the desire to soar. You were born with the gifts to succeed such as enthusiasm, persistence, adventure, the ability to get over things and faith. The only part you need to work on is the skills to succeed and this will come with learning and investing in yourself.
6. Be Teachable–Don’t think you know it all.…sizing yourself up against others, being judgmental and argumentative. This will get you no where. Someone who is teachable says, “Show me, guide me, teach me.” Egos will keep you broke, so don’t be afraid to ask for help. Listen to what other successful people tell you and above all, TAKE ACTION!
“There is no passion is to be found in playing small, in settling for a life that is less than the one that you are capable of living.” ~Nelson Mandela
Well folks– that’s all for now, but more to come soon! Hope you got some value out of this post and that you spread your wings and fly like an eagle to be free! If you liked this, please share, tweet, like and comment below!

Hi B and Flea,
Awesome inspiration!
I feel blessed to be 35 minutes from the beach in Jersey — when I’m home — and now I’m about 10 minutes from the beach in Phuket, Thailand. The reason why I’m here, travelling Asia for a year? Following your suggestions each and every day.
We need to believe in ourselves and develop desire fire to be free. We need to break the chains of limiting beliefs — all of which we acquired from other folks — to be free.
Thanks for sharing your insight with us!

Wow, you truly are blessed! That’s so cool Ryan! We’ve seen the beautiful pics of your journey in Thailand and are quite impressed! We love that you’re actually walking the walk, not just talking the talk. YOU are an inspiration!
Couldn’t agree with you more that we have to believe in ourselves and live the life we are designed to live instead of settling for mediocrity.
Thanks so much Ryan for your comments and for sharing!
