We’re start­ing a new series and we’ll begin with…Innovative Offline Marketing-Part 1

“Post It Notes”! That’s right! Another one of our great team lead­ers by the name of  Larry Beacham, pretty much came up with the idea and you’ll see that it really does work as you read on.
Here’s what’s cool about this strategy: 1) Inexpensive to start; 2) You can imple­ment it immediately; 3) 100% duplicatable; 4) rejection-proof; 5) Produces results quickly!

Here’s what we per­son­ally went out and did, drove to Office Max and pur­chased a cus­tomized stamp for around $20.00 and a set of post it notes for around $5.00, came home and got started stamp­ing each post it note with a sim­ple 4 line message.

The next step was to dis­trib­ute these in high traf­fic areas such as ATM machines,Coin Star’s,Bank drive-thru’s,Newspaper machines,Pop machines,DVD rental machines,Change machines at car wash’s and laun­dry mats,Lotto machines, the list goes on and on. Just be imag­i­na­tive. I’m sure you can think of a lot of places that catch your eye. You only need one per loca­tion and then the magic starts almost immediately.

After Brian placed these post it notes in var­i­ous loca­tions, he came home, lit­er­ally just walked in the door, and the phone rang. In amaze­ment, I answered and the per­son pro­ceeded to say, “I got your post it note at the bank ATM and I’m inter­ested”. Can you believe it?! Just that quick!

Now, at this point you want to begin pre-qualifying the per­son call­ing you to deter­mine if they’ll be a right fit for your busi­ness. By the per­son tak­ing the post it note in the first place shows that they have a need to be met and that they are truly inter­ested. Now you need to send them a ques­tion­naire to con­tinue the process of pre-qualifying the per­son. It is so sim­ple! Speed is impor­tant if you want to grow your busi­ness and this method sim­ply cuts down on a lot of wasted energy and time chas­ing peo­ple who aren’t seri­ous about chang­ing their lives by putting words into action.
